LIS-Bibliometrics Conference 2022

“Measuring what matters”

Call for conference committee members

This year’s LIS-Bibliometrics Conference on the theme of “Measuring what matters” will be held online in September 2022. We are seeking volunteers from across and beyond the HE sector to join the organising committee. You will have an opportunity to help shape and deliver an international conference, gain valuable experience, extend your networks and contribute to the LIS-Bibliometrics community.

Organising committee activities will include:

  • Managing and reviewing submissions
  • Developing the conference programme
  • Liaising with speakers
  • Promoting the conference
  • Supporting the delivery of presentations
  • Ensuring core values such as equality, diversity and inclusion are at the centre of the process

To learn more about the Conference, please see our report on the 2021 event on the Bibliomagician blog.

Conference committee volunteers will meet virtually, in the run up to the conference on a monthly basis. If you are interested in working with us, we would love to hear from you. Please email Liam Bullingham Bullingl@edgehill.ac.uk and Bethany Logan b.c.logan@sussex.ac.uk and let us know why you are interested in joining the organising committee and what you would like to contribute.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 11:59pm (in your time zone) on Monday 2nd May 2022.
